ISOLO PRIME Overview
ISOLO PRIME In Use
Quick Start
Three steps. Do it once and you've got it.
- Screw the antenna on tight, then connect power
- No outlet? No problem — a power bank works too
Press and hold the mic power button to turn it on, then watch the receiver's light.
- When the light goes from blinking to solid, the mic and receiver are connected
* Light keeps blinking and never goes solid? See FAQ Q1 below.
Keep other wireless devices (Wi-Fi routers, Bluetooth speakers, phones) at least 2 meters (about 6 ft) away from the receiver for a more stable signal.
* Crowded RF environment causing dropouts? See Advanced Troubleshooting Q4 below.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. How do I pair the mic? What if pairing fails?
Re-pairing steps
When you swap a mic or receiver, you'll need to pair again:
- Power on both the mic and receiver; confirm both lights are blinking (pairing mode)
- While the mic light is blinking, press the mic power button once
- Lightly touch the mic antenna to the receiver antenna to help establish a stable link
- Once paired: the receiver light stays solid, and the mic light becomes steady

Q2. Can the ISOLO mic battery be replaced?
ISOLO is built around being lightweight and portable. To keep the body as compact as possible, the mic uses a built-in lithium battery that cannot be replaced by the user.
If the battery shows any issues, please contact CloudVocal for factory service. We recommend reaching out if you notice any of the following:
- Won't power on even after a full charge
- Runtime noticeably shorter (under about 30 minutes)
- Light unresponsive or showing abnormal behavior
- Power button hard to press (possible battery swelling)

Q3. What should I watch for when connecting to a mixer or console?
When connecting ISOLO to a mixer or console, these points help avoid distortion and noise:
- No phantom power needed — turn Phantom Power (+48V) off
- Connect to Line In or Inst In; avoid Mic In, which can cause distortion
- If the receiver uses AUX IN (external audio input), it may produce floating-ground noise while idle — unplug it when not in use
- Use well-shielded 6.3mm TRS or XLR cables
- Where possible, power the receiver and console from separate sources to reduce ground noise
Q4. How do I fix unstable signal or dropouts?
1. Check the antenna
- Confirm the receiver antenna is screwed on tight
- The metal antenna pin must not be bent or broken
Confirm the antenna is tight and the metal pin is undamaged.
2. Check the environment
- Keep other wireless devices (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, phones) at least 2 meters from the receiver
- Avoid metal obstructions; keep the receiver within line of sight
3. Enable long-range mode
- Press the button on the left side of the receiver to enable long-range mode
- This extends transmission distance, with a slight increase in latency
Q5. I'm using multiple ISOLO units — no sound after daisy-chaining. What now?
First, confirm these usage principles:
- One mic pairs with only one receiver
- A single mic cannot connect to two receivers at once
- If you need two audio paths, use two complete ISOLO systems
Example chaining setup
- Mixer CH1: Sax
- Mixer CH2: Flute
Still no sound? Check:
- Whether the mic and receiver paired successfully (receiver light must be solid)
- Whether you're using the correct output (DI OUT / LINE OUT)
- Whether SYNC IN / SYNC OUT are reversed

Q6. The speaker hums or feeds back — how do I fix it?
Feedback usually happens when the speaker's sound is picked up again by the mic. You can improve it with the following:
- Don't point the mic directly at the speaker; angle it away
- Lower the mic sensitivity by one step
- Reduce the speaker volume moderately
- Use EQ to cut the feedback-prone frequencies (often the low end)
- Reduce reverb on the effects — too much tail invites feedback
