Q1. How do I pair the ISOLO microphone? (Re-pairing instructions)
When replacing the microphone or receiver, re-pairing is required. Please follow these steps:
-
Power on both the microphone and receiver, and confirm that both indicator lights are flashing (pairing mode).
-
While the microphone LED is flashing, press the microphone power button once briefly.
-
Gently touch the microphone antenna to the receiver antenna to help establish a stable connection.
After successful pairing:
-
The receiver LED will remain solid
-
The microphone LED will also stay solid
If pairing fails, power off both devices, then power them back on and repeat the steps above.
Q2. What are the differences between ISOLO Prime, Lite, and Choice?
All three models are wireless instrument microphone systems. The main differences are as follows:
ISOLO Prime (Flagship Model)
-
Microphone pattern: Cardioid
-
Max SPL: Approx. 140 dB
-
Sound characteristics: High sensitivity and strong dynamic response
-
Built-in effects: 8 presets
-
Wireless system: 2nd generation
ISOLO Lite (Entry-Level Model)
-
Microphone pattern: Omnidirectional
-
Max SPL: Approx. 128 dB
-
Sound characteristics: Stable and easy to use
-
Built-in effects: 4 presets
-
Wireless system: 2nd generation
ISOLO Choice (Discontinued)
-
Microphone pattern: Omnidirectional
-
Built-in effects: 4 presets
-
Wireless system: 1st generation
Q3. How can I fix unstable signal or dropouts with ISOLO?
If you experience unstable reception or audio dropouts, please check the following:
1. Antenna condition
-
Make sure the receiver antenna is securely tightened
-
Check that the antenna pin is not bent or damaged
2. Environment check
-
Keep other wireless devices (Wi-Fi routers, Bluetooth devices, mobile phones) at least 2 meters away from the receiver
-
Avoid metal obstructions and keep the receiver within line of sight
3. Enable Long Range Mode
-
Press the button on the left side of the receiver to enable Long Range Mode
-
This increases transmission distance, but slightly increases latency
Q4. Can the ISOLO microphone battery be replaced?
The ISOLO microphone uses a built-in lithium battery and cannot be replaced by the user.
Please contact customer support if you experience any of the following:
-
The microphone cannot power on after a full charge
-
Significantly reduced operating time (less than approximately 30 minutes)
-
No LED response or abnormal LED behavior
-
Difficulty pressing the power button (possible battery swelling)
Q5. What should I do if there is no sound when using multiple ISOLO systems?
Please confirm the following usage rules and settings:
-
One microphone can only be paired with one receiver
-
One microphone cannot connect to two receivers at the same time
-
If two separate audio outputs are needed, two complete ISOLO systems are required
Example setup:
-
Mixer CH1: Saxophone
-
Mixer CH2: Flute
If there is still no sound, please check:
-
Whether pairing was successful (receiver LED must be solid)
-
Whether the correct output is used (DI OUT or LINE OUT)
-
Whether SYNC IN / SYNC OUT cables are connected correctly
Q6. How can I reduce hum or feedback when using ISOLO with speakers?
Feedback usually occurs when sound from the speakers is picked up again by the microphone. Try the following:
-
Avoid pointing the microphone directly at the speaker
-
Reduce microphone sensitivity by one level
-
Lower the speaker volume
-
Use EQ to reduce feedback-prone frequencies (commonly low frequencies)
-
Reduce reverb or effects levels, as excessive ambience can cause feedback
Q7. What should I note when connecting ISOLO to a mixer or console?
-
Phantom Power is not required — please turn Phantom Power OFF
-
Connect to Line In or Instrument In; avoid Mic In to prevent distortion
-
If AUX IN is connected, floating noise may occur while idle; unplug AUX IN when not in use
-
Use well-shielded 6.3 mm TRS or XLR cables
-
If possible, power the receiver and mixer separately to reduce ground noise
Q8. How can I reduce saxophone key noise picked up by the ISOLO microphone?
Key noise is normal mechanical noise, but it can be reduced with the following adjustments:
-
Set the microphone sensitivity to a lower level
-
Use EQ to slightly reduce low frequencies around 100–400 Hz
-
Adjust microphone position away from the key mechanism
-
Aim toward the outer edge of the bell, approximately 2–3 cm away
