To me, the best saxophone sound is the one you get in a venue with beautiful natural acoustics, no microphones, no processing, just the instrument filling the space. The iSolo Prime was the first system that truly did it. It gave me the tone I wanted while also giving me complete control over my backing tracks, effects, volume, and overall sound quality. For me, it’s the best microphone system a saxophonist can have.
The iSolo Prime by CloudVocal is a top wireless system for wind instruments. It offers clear, natural sound and easy setup with no cables. Built-in effects like reverb add depth to your performance. Excellent and practice
I've had the Prime since October 2020 and have literally used it all over the world. On the Mediterranean on the Dave Koz cruise to a bunch of local gigs - venues with audiences from 20 to 5,000. It's never failed me. I'd recommend exercising care when using/stowing the transmitter to avoid antenna damage as that seems to have been an issue for a few a while back - it's been fantastic. It's really handy for impromptu situations since you don't even need access to AC power. Love that you can run the receiver from a power bank. Back in the day I used to use a 12 space rolling rack for all of my electronics. Rack mount wireless receiver Rack mount EQ Rack Mount power conditioner Rack Mount preamp Rack mount effects unit So glad those days are over. Now I have a nice little zip up case for my mic and receiver, toss it in a bag with sax stands/iPad and I'm good to go. The reverb and delay sound good as do the double/harmonizing presets. Some of the effects I'll never use but it's really liberating to have everything in one compact, lightweight package. For maximizing range I'd recommend locating the receiver off of the floor - it seems to work better mounted higher so I use it on a shelf that clamps onto my iPad stand. 100% recommended.
J'utilise l'isolo Premier depuis plus de 2 ans, c'est un super micro pour les soirées club, soirées privés, une magnifique inventions!!! Cela me permet de me brancher rapidement, d'être indépendant pour mon volume et avoir des effets. Une seule critique!!! l'autonomie de batterie est trop limité, une option de pouvoir la changer en cours de soirée serait top. Le seul moyen actuel est de posséder 2 micros . Sinon c'est vraiment top. vivement que cela soit plus connu en France!!!

Just what I needed!
Very compact device. Although there are some discussions among the internet about battery and antenna socket issue. I have doubled checked with their team before making the purchase. If the product has any issue within two years of purchase and is related to battery or antenna socket. They will directly provide a replacement. Personal opinion, worth a try !
I've been using the solo print for the last 3+ years and always like the quality. The biggest negative is that to continue using these you have spent a fortune in transmitter replacements since the batteries are not rechargeable and you are faced with having to throw it away and buy another one at their replacement price. A very un-economical way to maintain the functionality of this system. I personally have over 1000.00 in replacement transmitters not to mention the 499.00 price to get started with the new system. Based on that, it really isn't the wisest choice in using a cordless system. I long for the day when cloudvocal ships this system with a rechargeable transmitter.
Great sound and easy to use!
This is the second iSolo Prime I have purchased. After hundreds of live performances, my first unit started becoming less reliable, but I still decided to buy another one because I really love the convenience of this system. Having independent control over EQ and effects in such a compact receiver is incredibly useful and, for my needs, almost unmatched. However, the wireless connection is simply too sensitive to interference. Phones, other wireless microphones, wireless DMX systems and many other devices can make the signal unstable, sometimes even at very short distances. Because of this, I am forced to carry a second wireless system with me. It is less convenient, but considerably more reliable In some situations. There are also a few improvements I would strongly suggest for a future version: 1. Add a mid-frequency EQ control. For saxophone, the midrange is extremely important, so having only bass and treble control is quite limiting. 2. Add a compressor. Even a simple compressor would be extremely useful to control sudden peaks and reduce the risk of clipping when playing very loud notes, especially in the upper register. 3. Focus on reverb and delay rather than adding less useful effects. I would much rather have better-quality reverb and delay than a large number of effects that, I suspect, very few users actually use. For the delay, adding tap tempo and control over the number/feedback of repeats would make a huge difference. 4. Add a proper power button to the receiver. It seems very strange that the only way to turn the receiver on and off is by connecting or disconnecting the power supply. 5. Improve RF stability and interference rejection. 6. Add USB-C charging to the microphone/transmitter. It would be more convenient, more robust, and easier to use with modern chargers and cables. I genuinely love the concept of the iSolo Prime and its practicality. If the wireless reliability could be improved, together with a few of these relatively simple additions, it would be extremely close to the perfect system for me. I hope my suggestions are useful to you. I’m really looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the next generation of the iSolo. Best Emanuele
Velcro doesn’t really hold. If you will move microphone will shake to much and make a sound. Also mic is too sensitive. When I’m trying to turn off the microphone it gives an amplified sound that shouldn’t be present And I’m not really happy with return policy. I live in United States. It takes time to return, 14 days is not enough.

Good product. Good quality, solid and takes up little space. The saxophone microphone needs to be improved. I have to use a rubber band to strengthen the succession.

The concept is great. Wireless receiver with built in eq and fx. Implementation could be improved. It does generate noticeable noise; and yes I'm using balanced connection and good power. Also, I heard what must have been some prototype videos where the delay effect could be fast enough to act as a slapback. But in the final version they obviously changed this because the delay even at its fastest is like half a seconf. That was disappointing. If you could lower the noise floor and make the delay parameter faster it would be perfect for me.

First impressions are very good! Very nice quality, compact , and good sound quality. Also love how it comes with so many accessories. Really great how you have all the options to get going straight away. The only small thing I would have loved, and this is a very minor comment, is that it would have been nice for the case to have had slightly more space so that I could fit both audio cables and the power cable with plug adaptor. When trying to fit everything in , there was only space for the mic, receiver and the jack cable. But the main thing is the sound and fxs, and they are very impressive!

It's been great using this in my performances, excellent quality.
I’ve only played with it a couple of times so far, I like all the different effects that it has and the microphone seems to be very responsive. I haven’t played it enough to get real familiar with it yet, but so far I really like it and I’m looking forward to exploring all the different options that it features and being able to determine which ones I like for the different songs that I play.

My name is Raphael Michaelides and I bought isolo Prime - Winds Wireless System (Order #2014). Unfortunately I want to return the isolo Prime and get the refund, as it is defective! The pedal is making a disturbing sound as I connect it with TS or TRS cable. I also tried other mine cables, other electrical sockets, two different PAs and I recorded this sound with my Focusrite. You can hear this sound to the .wav archive below and to my videos. The pedal is making this sound when the microphone is connected and when it is not. Also I tried other settings, which did not work, placed the antenna again, followed the instructions directly but the disturbing sound continued. Alert: I also paid the Import Duty/Tax/Service Fee 83,58 Euros, as DHL informed me about this tax when I received the package. I wasn't informed before. I have to mention that the package didn't have any further protection (eg.bubbles). Only a box with the case with the iSolo Prime - Wireless System in it. All in all the isolo Prime - Winds Wireless System is unfortunately defective and I want my money back immediately, with the Import Duty of 83,58 Euros I've paid included, as I pack and return the Pedal to you again. I also read at your Refund Policy that the shipping costs are covered by CloudVocal if you confirm this product defect. On the other hand it is not a solution as I've paid around 590€ for the product with the shipment expenses and 80€ for import taxes! This is a very big amount here in Greece, so I demand the product to play appropriate at all conditions! It is the 2/3 of my monthly salary! So I demand to be functional not only with powerbanks or different power sources (things I tried and didn't work). Please I need immediately your address in order to return this defective product by Monday, as I leave Greece on Wednesday and I won't be able to pack it and send it back. You will confirm this defection yourself and I trust you that the refund policy will be applied. I'll be waiting your instructions for the return and refund.

The thing about that ringning sound that happens when you daisy chain power. Your unit looks like a guitar pedal and it takes 9V power. Everything points to that it would work fine in a pedalboard. But it doesn't really because of needing to use seperate power. Maybe disclose this to a potential buyer?
I've been using Isolo prime for now 2 years almost everyday and in a lot of differents gigs (alone with dj or with bands) it has always been working perfectly, the effects are well balanced and the sound of the microphone is very professional. I'd recommend !
I just bought it and tried to use it for the first time. It was set up perfectly and worked great during rehearsal. However, when it came to performance it stopped working. I was, needless to say, pissed. However, I am trying it again and during rehearsal it seems to work great. I am will let you all know if I have difficulty with it. By the way I am using it on a flute. The flute holder for it, for lack of a better word, is not so hot. I was displeased with having to put a Velcro sticking tape on my flute. I have a wooden flute and the wood does not like it. But I am not giving up yet. Let's see.
